MB Driller
Our MB Drillers have high hex heads that are more
stable in the driver, reducing wobble. Clean hex corners eliminate rounding off
and sure clamping.
MB Drillers have smooth thread forming transition into full
threads that reduces installation torque and optimising pull out resistence.
MB Drillers have an extended unthreaded pilot section that
permits drilling to be completed before tapping, even in double purlins.
Points are size to drill holes appropriate to material thickness to optimize
holding power.

Fastener finish is critical to installation performance and
corrosion resistance. Platings and coatings provide lubricity during drilling and
tapping.

Using a torque transducer screwing device with computerized recording, the torque dynamics of a MB Driller is measured every 1/1000th of a second. The chart to the left illustrates the low torque required for MB Drillers during drilling. High torque developed during the tapping process results in consistently high clamp loads.
